About Limerick City College
The establishment of the College over the last ten years has been very exciting, and the ideal central location within the city with state-of-the-art facilities, ensures that our students have a spacious and versatile learning environment.
Limerick City College is housed within a modern facility which houses the library and learning resource centre, a ten terminal internet laboratory and state-of-the-art classrooms. There are a number of recreational facilities within walking distance as well as cafes and on-campus refreshments and common room facilities.
Limerick City College offers English language programmes to students from all countries and nationalities. 95% of the student body in June 2025 consisted of Portuguese speaking Brazilian students. Whilst we strive to offer multilingual classes it is essential to note that there is a possibility that some classes may be monolingual as a result of the student body composition. In the context of education, a monolingual class consists of students who all share the same native language, while a multilingual class includes students from various language backgrounds.
